another day at the park

I took my little one and my dog to the park today. I was trying to take a few shots to show proper lighting for a class I'm going to be teaching. We found a friend and I couldn't help myself. Both boys were just so darned cute!

This family is related to my husband. They stopped in for a chat and asked for some photos. I whipped out my ever ready camera and shot some great photos around my yard. I love photography...even my yard looks great!

I haven't been able to take many pictures of newborns, so I was excited to take this little guys photo. It's good to have to stretch creatively sometimes. I was sick and so I have to admit it might not have been the best shoot prop wise ( I guess we could have thrown some power tools in there, I'm sure his dad wouldn't have minded) ...but sometimes the simplier the better. I think he did great!

I had the opportunity while in Utah to take the engagement pictures of a friend's son. They were fun and so in love. Best of wishes to the newly engaged.

I've been working on the railroad...

This little guy knows everything there is to know about trains. He was telling me things about trains that I had never heard before. It made sense then to take his 5 year old pictures by trains. It was a fun shoot and I really enjoyed his company.
